Hylane Aldoria Constant Finley

Hylane Aldoria Constant Finley, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.

A 1973 graduate of Cleveland High School, while in school she was a member of the cheerleading team and played clarinet in the band. She was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America of Cleveland. She was employed for more than 32 years and was currently on early retirement for the past seven years at Duracell. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecile McCleary; her stepfather, Willie J. Taylor; her maternal grandmother, Eva Constant; paternal grandparents, Herbert \"Poppa Shug\" and Shelly McCleary; two uncles, Marshall and William Constant; and three aunts, Mary Constant, Mary Ruth Ladd and Goldie Whaley.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Taylor; one son, Tyson Constant; one daughter, Juquita Constant; two grandchildren, Taiya Constant and Tylayshia McGhee; two adopted grandchildren, Carlazjion Constant and Ranasia Willis; siblings and their spouses, Vanessa and Reggie Howell, Shannon and Carlos Jones, Alveraz and Loretta Constant of Murfreesboro, Ryan Taylor, Kathy Kennedy of Cleveland, Pam McCleary of Athens, and Eugene McCleary of Murfreesboro; the devoted fathers of her children, Hugh Finley and Allen Sharp; two aunts, Adella Jones and Lorraine Mastin; two uncles, Robert and Nancy Constant, and Gary Constant; and a host of nieces, nephew and cousins. The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair St., in Cleveland. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 433 N. Ocoee St., in Cleveland, concluding with a dove release. The Rev. Rhonda S. Westfield will be the Eulogist. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. Patton Funeral Home of Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
