McCowan earns Honorary Doctorate
Pastor Harold McCowan received his Honorary Doctorate Degree from New Life Bible College in Cleveland this morning. A celebration for this commencement will be held in the Sherman Fine Arts Building on the campus of Tennessee Wesleyan College on Sunday, May 20. |

Etowah church joins Knoxville congregation
First Presbyterian Church in Etowah is now linked with Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church in Knoxville for their Sunday morning worship service. Sequoyah Hills is a congregation of more than 1,200 members and has resources which the small congregation in Etowah has not had access to until now. |

Oil painting class among numerous Sr. Ctr. activities
ETOWAH - I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. Wouldn't it be nice if we could change it to Mother's Day week? Not going to happen, I'm afraid. I am very fortunate to have a 12-year old-son, even though I am 68, and he sure made my day special with homemade gifts, cards and lots of hugs and kisses. |
