Athens Bancshares announces results
Athens Bancshares Corporation, the holding company for Athens Federal Community Bank, has announced its results of operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2010. The company's net income for the three months ended was $300,000 or $0.11 per share, compared to net income of $583,000 for the same period in 2009. For the six months ended June 30, the net loss was ($106,000) or ($0.04) per share, compared to a net income of $1.1 million for the six months. |
